Marlowe’s restaurant and pig trailer are right on Elvis Presley Blvd, just down the street from Graceland. The photos here were taken from an old crappy cell phone camera about six or seven years ago. Check back in the future for a full review. In short, the only thing I liked about the ribs was the sauce. If you’d like to read more about it sooner, comment to let me know. Until then, don’t miss my Quick-Fire Guide below. Also check out full reviews and Quick-Fire Guides of other bbq restaurants from my BBQ Guide.
Here are a few notes about the ‘que:
Tenderness-
- Ribs-Were sloppy tender, resembling par-boiled meat. A crusty bark was replaced by a mushy surface of saucy goo.
Smoke-
- Ribs-Lacked smoke flavor.
Sauce-Standard sweet and tangy bbq sauce. I thought it had a nice balance of flavors.
