L&M Bar-B-Q
For some reason, every restaurant that I’ve seen open at this location on Houston Levee eventually closed. I noticed L & M Bar-B-Q on my way to take the boys to karate and later returned for the ‘que. After this L & M closed, it later became Reggie’s BBQ out of Jackson, TN, which also closed. Quick-Fire Guide:
Here are a few notes about the ‘que:
Tenderness-
- Ribs-Were ideally tender for ribs.
- Shoulder-Was tender and moist.
Smoke-
- Ribs-Had nice wood smoke flavor
- Shoulder-Had nice wood smoke flavor
Sauce-Standard sweet and tangy bbq sauce. Nicely balanced flavor.
