Country Cafe’s Huge BBQ Pit Under A Shed In Whiteville, TN

Glance at a text message and you’ll miss this little bbq shop (or have a wreck). In fact, you might even miss the whole town, the tiny little town of Whiteville, TN, about forty miles east of Memphis. Angelica and I were passing through and decided to stop in when I spotted the huge smoker out back, tucked under an old country shed. The homie and country western little bbq shack with its covered wooden porch looked inviting, and the aroma of wood smoke and succulent meats filled the air. But as charming as it was, we were on the road and trying to make time, so we grabbed a couple of barbecue sandwiches to go. Ribs were only available on weekends. It turned out to be a really good, smoky pork sandwich. Perhaps the ribs are in my near future and I’ve read they’re also quite known for their steaks. Until I write this full article, check out my Quick-Fire Guide below.
